MYTILINEOS will spearhead the development of ~90 solar projects across Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia. These projects are set to transition to PPC Group’s ownership upon their completion and grid connection within the next three years.

🎯 With the agreement, PPC is actively progressing on its strategic objectives:

🚀 Strengthen footprint in Romania.

🌐 Venture into new, high-growth markets in Italy, Croatia, and Bulgaria

🔗 PPC's strategy in the SEE region is to forge an interconnected energy corridor, enhancing energy trades between Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, and Croatia.

💡 The company aims to tap into the wholesale power prices differential observed in these markets. Romania and Bulgaria feature average wholesale power prices at €104/MWh, while Greece and Italy are slightly higher at €119/MWh and €127/MWh, respectively.

📈 This strategy follows PPC’s acquisition of Enel Group’s Romanian operations for €1.9bn in Oct’23, which includes power distribution, supply, renewable energy management by Enel Green Power Romania, and advanced energy services.
